This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps Arx Risk Ltd has taken to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains.
Arx Risk Ltd is a specialist security risk management and corporate investigations company registered in England and Wales. We provide intelligence-led security services, corporate investigations, and travel risk management to clients across the UK and internationally. Our workforce is small and directly employed. We do not operate in sectors or geographies associated with elevated modern slavery risk.
Our supply chains comprise technology providers, professional services firms, and vetted specialist subcontractors who support the delivery of our services. All subcontractors engaged by Arx Risk are subject to a structured vetting process prior to engagement. This includes verification of identity, professional background checks, and assessment of their own compliance standards where relevant.
We procure services from reputable organisations and individuals operating in regulated sectors, primarily within the UK and comparable jurisdictions. We maintain ongoing due diligence standards in all supplier and subcontractor relationships and we reserve the right to terminate any engagement where concerns arise.
Arx Risk Ltd has zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking in any form, whether within our business or our supply chains. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our operations.
We conduct appropriate due diligence on all new suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners as part of our standard onboarding process. For subcontractors in particular, this includes identity verification and professional background assessment commensurate with the nature of the work they are engaged to carry out. Any supplier, subcontractor, or partner found to be involved in modern slavery or human trafficking would have their relationship with Arx Risk terminated immediately and, where appropriate, referred to the relevant authorities.
We ensure that members of our team are aware of the indicators of modern slavery and understand their responsibility to report concerns. Given the nature of our investigative work, our team maintains a higher than average level of awareness of exploitation-related risks.

Arx Risk Ltd operates at the intersection of advanced technology and experienced human intelligence. As artificial intelligence tools become increasingly prevalent across the intelligence and risk sectors, we believe it is important to be transparent with our clients about precisely how AI is, and is not, used within our service delivery model.
This statement sets out our philosophy, our operational boundaries, and the commercial rationale behind our approach to AI integration within our dark web and dark net monitoring and investigation services.
Arx Risk employs artificial intelligence as an analytical support tool within our dark web and dark net monitoring platform, Arx Sentinel™. AI is deployed specifically to assist with the scanning, aggregation, and preliminary flagging of data across dark web environments. This process benefits from automated processing due to the sheer volume and pace of activity across these networks.
In practical terms, AI allows Arx Sentinel™ to cast a wider net more efficiently, surfacing relevant data points and potential threat indicators at a speed and scale that manual monitoring alone cannot match. This gives our analyst teams a structured, prioritised intelligence picture from which to begin their work.
AI is used within our operations for:
AI generated outputs within Arx Sentinel™ are treated exclusively as preliminary intelligence. They are a starting point, not a conclusion.
No AI output is delivered to a client as a finished product. No investigation is conducted, assessed, or concluded by AI alone. Every engagement, from initial monitoring alerts through to final reporting, is subject to review, validation, and contextual analysis by our experienced human analyst team before it reaches the client.
Our analysts apply professional judgement and investigative scepticism to all AI generated data. Where AI has flagged a subject, connection, or data point, our team assesses the accuracy, relevance, and broader significance of that information in context. This is work that requires human expertise that no current AI system can replicate reliably in a high-stakes investigative environment.
We are aware that a number of providers in the dark web monitoring sector have moved towards predominantly AI driven service models. We have made a deliberate choice not to follow this path, for reasons that are directly relevant to our clients.
Intelligence that is acted upon, whether in a legal proceeding, a boardroom decision, a regulatory submission, or a law enforcement referral, must be accurate, contextually sound, and defensible. AI systems are capable of producing plausible looking output that is factually incorrect, miscontextualised, or incomplete. In a dark web investigation context, the consequences of acting on inaccurate intelligence can be serious.
Our human led model exists because our clients need intelligence they can trust and, where necessary, stand behind.
AI makes us faster and broader. Our analysts make us accurate and accountable.
Outside of our investigative and monitoring services, Arx Risk also makes use of AI image generation tools in the production of marketing and communications materials. This includes the creation of visual assets for our website, social media channels, and promotional content.
We are transparent about this use because we believe our clients and contacts are entitled to a complete picture of how AI features in our business. It is important to note, however, that this application is entirely separate from our client service delivery. AI generated imagery has no role in our investigative outputs, our reporting, or any intelligence product delivered to a client.
We will continue to evaluate and integrate AI tools where they demonstrably enhance the quality, speed, or breadth of our intelligence capability. We will not integrate AI in ways that compromise the integrity of our outputs or the accountability we owe to our clients.
If you have any questions about our use of AI within a specific engagement or within Arx Sentinel™ generally, we welcome direct conversation with our team. Contact us via our enquiry form.
